Dorchester Dance Fest

A celebration of dance, community, and the Greater Boston spirit.

Come celebrate the best of Greater Boston’s dance community at the Tony Williams’ Dorchester Dance Fest — a free showcase honoring the spirit, creativity, and joy that make our neighborhoods extraordinary.

On May 2, 2026 at 3pm, the historic Strand Theatre comes alive with performances spanning ballet, modern, jazz, and beyond. Dancers of all ages and backgrounds take the stage in a joyful celebration of everything our community has to offer — exactly the spirit that Tony Williams has championed throughout his legendary career as founder of the Urban Nutcracker.

Whether you’re a lifelong dance lover or looking for a wonderful afternoon out, this is a celebration you won’t want to miss. Admission is free. All are welcome.
