City Ballet of Boston exists because of people like you. Last season, your generosity helped us reach more than 11,000 individuals across Greater Boston — bringing the beauty and discipline of ballet to audiences, students, and communities who might never have experienced it otherwise.

3,200+ people attended free performances and programs — because we believe ballet shouldn’t be a luxury. From neighborhood events to school matinees, we work to make every performance accessible.


14 free community events brought ballet off the stage and into the city — into schools, community centers, and public spaces where it could meet people where they are.


55 scholarship students received free training with Boston City Youth Ballet in 2025–2026. These young dancers — selected for talent and potential, regardless of financial means — are the future of this art form.
